Principal and Creative Director
LN Studio’s Lead Designer, Lara, brings a unique blend of artistic vision, architectural expertise, and hands-on project management to every project she undertakes. Trained in Toronto and Milan, Lara has over fifteen years of experience spanning interior design, architectural theory, and construction management.
Her academic foundation includes an undergraduate degree in architectural theory and fine art history from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in interior design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design. Beyond her design credentials, Lara honed her skills as a senior construction project manager for a Toronto-based real estate developer. In this role, she embraced an agile mindset, navigating the complexities of evolving project needs while collaborating closely with trades and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. This experience gives her a great understanding of the construction process and allows her to bridge the gap between creative vision and practical execution.
At the heart of her work is a belief that how we feel in a space profoundly impacts our lives. Her design philosophy combines artful inspiration with thoughtful, functional details, all aimed at enhancing the way her clients live and interact with their environments. Lara’s process is honest, transparent, and engaging, fostering collaboration and trust at every stage to ensure her clients feel confident and connected to their project.
It's difficult to describe in words, but I'll try my best. Lara has been absolutely amazing to work with!! She has exceeded our expectations with her professionalism, timeliness, flexibility, listening skills and much more. Her attention to detail, thoroughness and thoughtfulness during the design process often times left me in awe. She was able to take what we said, be it major or minor commentary, and translate perfectly into her design. Although I'm itching to get this project completed, I will miss working with Lara.
